Granville Street, 1893
Taken from the first Hotel Vancouver on Georgia & Granville, this photo shows a temporary Hudson’s Bay store and the new one being built on the corner, the same site as the current one that was built in 1913.
The third building from the left (north of the current Hudson’s Bay store) is still there. It was forgotten about for years until about a decade ago when the facade covering it was removed and the building restored.
