Today, Michael Audain is a property developer, philanthropist, arts patron, and the great grandson of coal baron Robert Dunsmuir. In 1961, he was a UBC poli sci student and Freedom Rider. His dad was pissed that his civil rights activism was an embarrassment to the family. More info here.
