Vancouver, 1907

The earliest known film footage shot from a streetcar in 1907 by William Harbeck. More info here. You can still pick up a DVD version that’s chock full of historical details and 2007 footage of the same route. I believe it’s still available from the City of Vancouver Archives and the Vancouver Public Library, Special Collections for around 20 bucks.

Thanks to Zoe for bringing this serene version to my attention at the end of my work day.
